As part of the research for this page, I created a Google Form survey which included questions about how people felt about certain kinds of events at cemeteries. I then sent it to the Oregon Commision on Historic Cemeteries list-serve as well as the staff and volunteers of cemeteries across the country.

I considered the results of the survey when offering advice about how to do an event or program. Most significantly, the vast majority of respondents supported having more events in their community cemeteries and would be excited to do more there. Keep that in mind as you plan more events for your cemetery! People want to come! Give them a reason to do so.
